Poundswick
Poundswick is about nine miles south of the city centre; east of the M56 motorway, and north of Simons Way. There's good access to other areas of south Manchester and Cheshire. The M56 leads straight onto Princess Parkway, a major route into the city centre.

Poundswick is very close to Wythenshawe civic shopping centre, with its food hall and market. The centre also includes the Wythenshawe Forum a modern, accessible building at the heart of community life; the place to come for leisure, learning and childcare.
The Forum has a swimming pool, gym, sports hall and fitness centre, health centre, children's nursery and job centre.
There are regular buses to the city centre. Plans to extend the Metrolink system through the area would bring fast, frequent trams to the city centre and airport.
