Platt Fields is about eight miles south of the city centre. It's west of Princess Parkway, mostly between Altrincham Road and Hollyhedge Road.

Platt Fields Park is just across the road. This large green area has a boating lake, angling, four bowling greens, football pitch, crazy golf, and tennis courts.
